Hi, I'm MEG
A decade of photographing weddings across Leicestershire, the East Midlands and beyond.
Wedding photographer, art school graduate, mama to Eliza Lou - and the face behind Meg Moss Photography.
When I'm not photographing weddings, you'll usually find me spending time with my family or reading a good book with a cup of tea in hand (of course!)
I've always been drawn to storytelling and the little details that can so easily be missed. Photography gives me a way to preserve those fleeting moments - not just how a wedding looked, but how it felt to be there.
My approach is natural and documentary at heart, with a touch of fine-art and editorial influence. I want your photographs to feel like your wedding, rather than a styled version of it. I'll be there to capture the things that happen naturally, while also looking for beautiful compositions, thoughtful details and those portraits where everything comes together just right.
I also work alongside my wonderful colleague and photography mentor, Keith, who brings more than 40 years of experience to every wedding we photograph together. Together, we run Moss Gray Photography, our two-photographer wedding photography business, while Meg Moss Photography is where you'll find me working independently. Between us, we've documented hundreds of weddings, from intimate celebrations to large-scale events.
My approach
For me, the best wedding galleries have a bit of everything.
The anticipation and excitement before the ceremony. The people you've brought together. The little details you've spent months choosing. The laughter, the nerves, the hugs, the happy tears and the moments nobody planned for.
I'll photograph all of that as it unfolds, without turning your wedding day into a photoshoot. I'm not going to direct every moment or have you constantly looking at the camera. Instead, I'll give you space to enjoy what's happening while keeping an eye out for the moments, interactions and details that tell the story of your day.
That doesn't mean I'll leave you to figure everything out on your own, either. When it comes to portraits, I'll give you simple prompts and gentle direction so you know what to do without feeling like you're posing for hours. I want your photographs to look beautiful, but still feel like you.
I also love bringing a little more of an editorial feel into certain photographs - particularly portraits, details and black-and-white images. It's about being intentional with composition, light and the little things that make an image work, while keeping everything connected to the real story of the day.
Every image I deliver is carefully considered and personally edited by me. I don't outsource my editing or use AI to process your photographs. I take the time to craft each gallery myself, making sure every photograph feels consistent and true to the atmosphere, emotion and story of your wedding.
Ultimately, my job is to document your day honestly and beautifully - giving you photographs that bring back the people, the atmosphere and all those little moments you might otherwise have forgotten.
