Meet the photographer
Hi, I'm MEG
A decade of photographing weddings across Leicestershire and beyond.
Art school graduate, wife to Jared, mama to Eliza Lou, and wedding photographer for over 10 years.
When I'm not photographing weddings, you'll usually find me spending time with my family or reading a good book with a cup of tea in hand (of course!)
I've always been drawn to storytelling and the little details that often go unnoticed. Photography allows me to preserve those fleeting moments and turn them into memories. I aim to make the photography part of your day feel easy and enjoyable; rather than stiff poses or endless direction, I focus on creating space for genuine moments to unfold naturally.
I frequently work alongside my wonderful colleague and photography mentor, Keith, who brings more than 40 years of experience to every wedding we photograph together. Between us, we've documented hundreds of weddings, from intimate celebrations to large-scale events.
My approach

My approach to weddings is simple: to document your day honestly, naturally, and as it unfolds. I take a low-key, documentary approach, focusing on real moments rather than directing or staging them. The laughter, the nerves, the quiet in-between moments, the hugs that last a little longer than expected - these are the things that make your wedding uniquely yours, and they're the moments I'm always looking for.
I believe great wedding photography should feel authentic. Rather than interrupting the flow of your day, I prefer to blend into the background and capture events as they happen, creating photographs that feel genuine and full of life years later.
Every image I deliver is carefully considered and personally edited by me. I don't outsource my editing or use AI to process your photographs. Your wedding is too important to be treated as part of an automated workflow. I take the time to craft each gallery myself, ensuring every photograph receives the attention it deserves and remains true to the atmosphere, emotion, and story of your day.

When it comes to portraits, I know being in front of a camera doesn't come naturally to everyone. In fact, most of my couples tell me they're a little nervous about it. My goal is never to make you perform for the camera, but to help you feel comfortable enough to forget it's there. I use simple prompts and gentle guidance that encourage natural movement and genuine interaction, rather than awkward poses or forced smiles. The result is relaxed, flattering photographs that feel like you — not a version of you acting for the camera.
Ultimately, my role is to create a thoughtful, honest record of your wedding day: photographs that capture not only how everything looked, but how it felt.
Kind words from
