How would you describe your photography style?
My approach is relaxed, natural, and documentary-led. I tend to blend into the background and I focus on capturing genuine moments as they happen rather than creating lots of staged photographs. Of course, I'll offer guidance when needed, but my aim is always to create images that feel authentic and true to your day.
Do you work alone?
All the collections available on my website are me working as an individual, however my shared business with Keith, 'Moss Gray Photography' accommodates having multiple photographers and also has a focus on beautiful handcrafted wedding albums. Having a second photographer can be particularly valuable for larger weddings, allowing us to capture even more moments throughout the day.
How do you handle family photos on the wedding day?
I like to keep group photos as relaxed, organised, and efficient as possible so that you can get back to enjoying your day. Typically, I work through one side of the family at a time, starting with the couple and their parents, then gradually adding or removing family members as needed. Once we've finished one side, we'll repeat the process with the other family. Before the wedding, we'll have a chat about the specific group photos you'd like, so I can create a clear plan for the day.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes! I offer one-hour engagement sessions for £250, including travel within 25 miles of the LE67 postcode. My 'complete collection' has an engagement session included. The session can take place at a location that's special to you, or if you're unsure where to go, I'm always happy to suggest somewhere. Engagement sessions are a fantastic opportunity for us to get to know each other before the wedding day and help you feel more comfortable in front of the camera. They're relaxed, informal, and a chance to spend some quality time together without the pressures of a wedding timeline.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! I’m based in the East Midlands, but I’m very happy to travel across the UK for weddings.
Travel within 50 miles each way of LE67 is included in the package price. Beyond this, travel is charged at £0.45 per mile, or the cost of public transport where this is the most practical option.
For weddings that are more than around 2.5–3 hours’ drive away, an overnight stay may be required, with the cost of accommodation covered by the couple.
how do we recieve the final photos?
Around 2–4 weeks after your wedding, you’ll receive a link to your own private, password-protected online gallery. You’ll be able to download your full gallery twice using a personal PIN - once in high resolution for printing and once in a web-sized format for sharing on social media.
You can then share your gallery link and password with your guests, who can view the photos and purchase them directly from the gallery.
